Breaking Limits: Powering the AI Era--SEMICON Taiwan Opens 9/4!

SEMICON Taiwan 2024 opens on September 4 (Wednesday). The three-day exhibition is the largest one to date, encompassing TaiNEX 1 and 2, with over 1,100 exhibitors worldwide and 20 discussion panels with industry experts.
The slogan of this year's show is "Breaking Limits: Powering the AI Era". Highly advanced chips have allowed AI to reach new heights; AI, in turn, will bring about the next revolution in semiconductor development and manufacturing. The show will feature two new exhibition areas this year--AI Technology Zone and AI Virtual Lab--to explore and celebrate the collaboration between the two technologies.
Accordance will exhibit in the Smart Manufacturing Expo at TaiNEX 2. Countries around the world hope to build their own semiconductor supply chain but are often tripped up by a shortage of trained personnel. Accordance's ASI-RPA process automation system can operate equipment according to user-defined scripts. Repetitive, regular, and time-consuming tasks can be quickly automated, freeing up personnel that can be deployed in tasks with higher value. Successful processes in existing plants can also be replicated, allowing a new plant to begin production more quickly.
Tech manufacturers are already utilizing a variety of data analysis algorithms to improve success rates and predict equipment failures. As AI technology advances, the information provided will become more and more accurate. Accordance's ASI-RPA and PLC PLUS solutions can collect data from PC-base and PLC-base equipment and upload the data to analysis systems, enabling old equipment without communication capabilities to enjoy the benefits of advanced algorithms.
Accordance will also be showcasing a new solution--Dry Pump+ Remote Monitoring and Preventive Maintenance System. Dry vacuum pumps play a vital role in maintaining the clean rooms required for chip manufacturing. Equipment engineers must inspect the pumps regularly. If a pump goes down, maintenance vendors are notified. Much time is lost between the pump failing and being replaced. Accordance's Dry Pump+ solution can automate this entire process. It doesn't just enable remote monitoring of pump status but can accurately predict pump failures through its specialized algorithm. Notifications are automatically sent to both the engineer in charge and vendors. Engineers no longer need to visit each pump or parse through the data to understand how the pumps are working. Maintenance can be arranged in advance, avoiding the impact caused by unexpected equipment failure.
