Used to detect the presence of chemical liquids.
Reliably senses acids, alkalis, and other conductive liquids.
Detects liquid depth greater than 0.1" (2.5 mm).
Minimum puddle size: 0.6" (15 mm) diameter.

Chemical-resistant – Sensor cable continues to operate normally after 7 days of exposure to:

  • Fresh deionized water

  • Tap water

  • Sulfuric acid, H₂SO₄ (98%)

  • Sulfuric acid, H₂SO₄ (50%)

  • Hydrochloric acid, HCl (37%)

  • Sodium hydroxide, NaOH (10%)

  • Aqua regia (HNO₃ + 3 HCl)

  • Ethylene glycol, C₂H₆O₂ (60% in deionized water)

Features a non-conductive polymer mesh that prevents false alarms caused by dirt/dust buildup, metal contact, or pressure on the sensor rope.

Voltage and Current:

  • Closed Circuit: <300mV @ 10.7mA
