SEMICON Taiwan Preview: Accordance Drives the Next Evolution of Industry 4.0

 

SEMICON Taiwan, one of the world’s largest annual semiconductor industry events, will be held from September 10 to 12, 2025, at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Halls 1 and 2. The exhibition is expected to attract more than 950 domestic and international exhibitors, covering semiconductor manufacturing, assembly and testing, materials, equipment, smart manufacturing, and green sustainability. The theme for this year is “Empowering the Semiconductor Future”, focusing on AI-driven manufacturing innovation, advanced processes, packaging technologies, smart factories, and sustainable manufacturing. Multiple international forums and technical exchange sessions will also take place, making it a key platform for industry professionals to stay on top of the latest trends and explore new business opportunities.

At this major industry event, Accordance has integrated the AiRPA PC Robotic Operation Platform and the RCM Link Remote Control System with the NXP i.MX 8M Plus platform, deploying the solution at NXP’s Kaohsiung facility. This brings a new smart factory application to the production line, highlighting the high performance and low power consumption of the NXP i.MX 8M Plus processor, while driving a comprehensive upgrade in production line management efficiency.

Building a Replicable Cross-Site Remote-Control Smart Factory Model

The RCM Link series adopts a non-intrusive, plug-in architecture, requiring no software installation on machine PCs, and allows rapid connection to various machine interfaces. This makes it ideal for production lines with a large number of legacy machines. When combined with AiRPA, which uses script-based workflow control and a built-in AI image recognition toolbox, it enables centralized monitoring and intelligent scheduling across systems and production lines, effectively reducing human error and enhancing operational efficiency. This approach lays the foundation for NXP to replicate smart factory models across multiple global sites, providing an innovative framework for cross-border semiconductor manufacturing collaboration.

Expanding Integration with Delta Electronics

Moving forward, Accordance will integrate its solutions with Delta Electronics’ DIAEAP+ Equipment Automation Monitoring Platform, along with AiRPA and RCM Link, to build an intelligent manufacturing ecosystem that covers production equipment, process data flows, scheduling management, and remote maintenance. This will comprehensively enhance the efficiency, flexibility, and stability of NXP production lines while expanding the scope of smart factory applications.
