The Solution

Accordance’s edge backup solution upgrades equipment systems to support RAID 1 functionality. The system and production data are automatically backed up into a second drive that is ready to go online at any moment. In the event of a drive failure, the production data is safe, and the equipment can keep running, ensuring machine uptime and maintaining production efficiency. Easy access to the drives and hot-swap support means the equipment does not need to be dismantled or powered down when replacing failed drives and preparing additional offline backups.

For older equipment with IDE or SCSI host interfaces, Accordance’s solution enables the use of SATA drives without modifying the equipment. Users can switch to mainstream SATA drives while adding RAID 1 capabilities to their equipment.
